Unit Sought: Included: All regular full time and part time technicians including Field Technicians and Field Service Technicians assigned to the Employer’s locations in Suffolk Co., NY. Excluded: Guards, managerial and confidential employees, clerical employees, supervisors as defined by the Act and non-technicians. The RM Petitioner, MasTec, Inc. d/b/a MasTec Advanced Technologies (the “Employer”) contends that a multifacility unit is not appropriate because the two locations in the Union’s petitioned-for unit do not share a community of interests. In addition, it is the Employer’s position that Lead Quality Control Technicians should be included in the petitioned-for unit because they share an overwhelming community of interests with the Field Technicians. Excluded: Guards, managerial and confidential employees, clerical employees, supervisors as defined by the Act and non-technicians.
