Unit Sought: The Hospital recognizes the Association as the exclusive representative for purposes of collective bargaining of all full-time, regular part-time, per diem and temporary persons lawfully authorized by permit to practice as registered professional nurses, classified in both cases as staff nurses, senior staff nurses, nurse reviewer, discharge planner and antepartum testing nurses per diem and temporary employed by the Hospital excluding Senior Vice President for Nursing, Associate Vice President for Nursing, Associate Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Epidemiologists, Director of Nursing Education, Director of Discharge Planning, Nursing Supervisors, Supervisor Nurse Reviewer, Nurse Practitioner, Discharge Planning Supervisor, Director of Patient Services, Continuity Care Coordinator, Quality Assurance Coordinator, Nursing Computer Coordinator, Radiation Unit Coordinator, Staff Development Instructors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Health Service Nurse, Nurse Recruiter, Peri-Operative Head Nurse, Director of Operating Room, Community Health Nurse Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended, and all other employees employed by the Hospital at its facilities at 506 6th Street, Brooklyn, New York. The term "employee", as used throughout this Agreement, is limited exclusively to an employee of the Hospital in such bargaining unit. It is agreed that this contract shall apply and continue full force and effect at any and all of the Hospital's satellite clinics, primary care clinics, and community based sites.
