Description of Present Unit All physicians and dentists employed by Care Plus Bergen, Inc. d/b/a New Bridge Medical Center (the Employer) who work an average of six or more hours per week during a calendar quarter (13 weeks). Excluded are managerial employees, confidential employees and supervisors within the meaning of the Act, interns, residents, and fellows, and all other employees of the Employer. The present unit consists of approximately 25 physicians. Item 6a. Proposed Changes to Present Unit Doctors Council, SEIU Local 10MD (the Union) seeks to add to the present unit approximately 85 physicians who are either independent contractors or employees of other employers. None of these physicians is employed by the Employer. All of these physicians have historically been unrepresented or represented by one or more other labor organizations. At no time has the Union represented any of these physicians.
