If a majority of valid ballots are cast for Amalgamated Transit Union Local 282, they will be taken to have indicated the employees' desire to be included in the existing bargaining unit of drivers, mechanics and bus washer/fuelers currently represented by Amalgamated Transit Union Local 282. If a majority of valid ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees' desire to remain unrepresented.

Voting Unit (Unit A): All full-time and regular part-time production and maintenance employees working under the terms of the Rock, Sand and Gravel Agreement between Calaveras Material, Inc. and Operating Engineers Local No.3 of the International Union of Operating Engineers, AFL-CIO, at the Employer's Hughson and Snelling, California facilities, including all employees in the following positions (and or performing the duties of): Asphalt Plant Operator, Assistant Asphalt Operator, Crusher Operator, Heavy Duty Repairman, Master Heavy Duty Repairman, Welder, Backhoe, Blade, Dozer, Tractor, Scraper, Loader, Hydraulic Excavator, Dragline, Sauerman, Highline, Plant Crane, Lead Person and Working Foreman, and, All full-time and regular part-time production and maintenance employees working under the terms of the same Rock, Sand and Gravel Agreement at the Employer's San Andreas, California faculty, including all employees in the following positions (and or performing the duties of): Dozer, Heavy Duty Repairman, Crusher Operator, Loader, Hydraulic Excavator, Plant Crane and Working Foreman, excluding all managerial and administrative employees, salespersons, office clerical employees, guards, and supervisors as defined in the Act.
