If a majority of valid votes are cast for the incumbent union, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to be included in the existing unit of all full time and regular part-time service and maintenance employees, including nurse aides, rehabilitation aides, physical therapy aides, occupational therapy aides, transport aides, activity assistants, van drivers, ward clerks, central supply employees, dietary employees, housekeeping employees, laundry employees, and maintenance employees represented by the Service Employees International Union, District 1199. If a majority of valid ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to remain unrepresented.
