Voting Unit (Unit A): INCLUDED: All full-time, regular part-time, and per diem Registered Nurses employed by the Employer at 150 W. Route 66, Glendora. EXCLUDED: All other employees, supervisory RNs, confidential employees, managers, guards, and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended. Others permitted to vote: The parties have agreed that Charge Nurses, Case Manager, and interim Director managing the Geropsych Department may vote in the election but their ballots will be challenged since their eligibility has not been resolved. No decision has been made regarding whether the individuals in these classifications or groups are Section 2(11) supervisory RNs. The eligibility or inclusion of these individuals in the bargaining unit will be resolved, if necessary, following the election. Also, per-diem employees in the unit who are eligible to vote are those who have worked an average of four (4) hours or more per week during the 13 weeks immediately preceding the eligibility date for the election.

Excluded: All other employees, including directors, non-professional employees, teacher’s aides, substitute teachers, Library Aide, administrative assistants, Assistant to the CEO/Interpreter, business office employees, institutional advancement office employees, human resources employees, operations department employees except those expressly included, security, residential supervisors, Registrar, Print Production Coordinator, Fleet Coordinator, Coordinator of Plant Operations, managerial employees, confidential employees, and guards and supervisors as defined in the Act. Others permitted to vote: The parties have agreed that the Nurse Assistant Supervisor (Gina McDonald) and the Coordinator of Interpreting Services (Joan Stone) may vote in the election but their ballots will be challenged since their eligibility has not been resolved. No decision has been made regarding whether the individuals in these classifications or groups are included in, or excluded from, the bargaining unit. The eligibility or inclusion of these individuals will be resolved, if necessary, following the election.
