Voting Unit (Unit A): INCLUDED: All armed and unarmed Protective Security Officers (PSO) employed by Paragon Systems performing guard duties as defined by Section 9(b)(3) of the National Labor Relations Act, assigned to Federal facilities in Laredo, Texas, under the Employer’s Contract No. HSHQC7-15-D-00003 (and any successor contract) with the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service. EXCLUDED: All other employees, including administrative, clerical, and non-guards, as defined by the National Labor Relations Act. The election will be conducted by mail. The mail ballots will be mailed to employees employed in the appropriate collective-bargaining unit from the office of the National Labor Relations Board, Region 16, at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Voters must return their mail ballots so that they will be received in the National Labor Relations Board, Region 16 office by close of business at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2019. The mail ballots will be counted at the Region 16 office located at 819 Taylor Street, Room 8A24, Fort Worth, TX 76102-6107 at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019. If any eligible voter does not receive a mail ballot or otherwise requires a duplicate mail ballot kit, he or she should contact the Region 16 office by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019, in order to arrange for another mail ballot kit to be sent to that employee.
