Voting Unit (Unit A): All Per Diem Registered Nurses employed by the Employer at its Norwich, Connecticut facility and who have worked for the Employer in the last four months; but excluding full time Registered Nurses, regular part-time Registered Nurses, non-budgeted regular part-time Registerd Nurses, Registered Nurses who are Exempt as that term is used in the Fair Labor Standards Act, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, Nurse Educators, and supervisors and guards as defined in the Act. If a majority of valid ballots are cast for Backus Federation of Nurses Local 5149, AFT Connecticut, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to be included in the existing Registered Nurses unit. If a majority of valid ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to remain unrepresented.
