Excluded: Students whose sole employment relationship with the Employer is in Dining Services, or is an internship, research fellowship, Mentored Advanced Project, or an equivalent relationship, such as externally grant-funded positions, Community Advisors, Overnight Stay Coordinators, and guards and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.
Also eligible to vote are all employees in the unit who have worked an average of two (2) hours or more per week between January 22, 2022, and the eligibility date for the election.
If a majority of valid ballots are cast for the Union of Grinnell Student Dining Workers, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to be included in the existing Dining Student Employee unit currently represented by the Union of Grinnell Student Dining Workers.
