Unit Sought: All full-time, regular part-time and per diem employees in the In-patient Rehabilitation Department of the Employer including, but not limited to, Senior Physical Therapists, Senior Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants but excluding all registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physicians, skilled maintenance employees, students, temporary employees, casual employees, confidential employees, employees in positions which were formerly part of the Trustees of Health & Hospitals who did not sign authorization cards prior to July 1, 1996, except as set forth in Appendix C of the collective bargaining agreement between the Employer and 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East and AFSCME, Council 93, managerial employees, guards and supervisors, as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, and all other employees. Please note that Senior Physical Therapists, Senior Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists are professional employees requiring a Sonotone ballot A vote in favor of Union representation is a vote to be added to the existing unit consisting of: All regular full-time and regular part-time service (including clerical), business office clerical and technical employees employed by the Hospital at its 818 Harrison Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts, location who are regularly scheduled for eight (8) or more hours a week, and all regular full-time and regular part-time service employees who are regularly scheduled for eight (8) or more hours a week (who on June 30, 1996, included General Services employees, Nutritional Services employees, Patient Transport Services employees, nursing assistants, certified nursing assistants, operating room aides) business office clerical employees and medical lab techs, employed by the Hospital at its 88 East Newton Street, Boston, Massachusetts location including those technical and non-professionals identified in the April 1997 Memorandum of Agreement, and per diem employees performing work in bargaining unit titles as referenced in Article 6, but excluding all registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physicians, skilled maintenance employees, students, temporary employees, casual employees, confidential employees, employees in positions in programs which were formerly part of Trustees of Health & Hospitals who did not sign authorization cards prior to July 1, 1996, except as set forth in Appendix C, managerial employees, guard
