Unit Sought: Including: All graduate and undergraduate non-tenure track faculty (including but not limited to, adjuncts (including assistant adjunct professor, associate adjunct professor, adjunct associate professor, adjunct associate Professor of the Practice, adjunct lecturer, and adjunct professor); instructors; senior instructors; lecturers; senior lecturers; fellows (including Joshua A. Guberman and Senior); visiting faculty; in-residence (including writers, poets, and artists); professors of the practice (assistant and associate); research professors (including associate or assistant); professors outside the tenure structure (including assistant and associate); and graduate students who teach courses beyond their stipend and are compensated on a per-course basis) employed by Brandeis University who are contracted to teach at least one credit-bearing course (including online, hybrid and blended courses) at the College of Arts and Sciences, the Graduate College of Arts & Sciences, the International Business School, the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, the Rabb School of Continuing Studies and Division of Professional Graduate Studies, English Language Programs, Gateway Scholars Programs, or Justice Brandeis Semester, or who are contracted to teach courses in the Transitional Year Program. An employee working for the University in another capacity who also teaches a class or course identified above shall be included within the unit, unless the employee is expressly excluded in the exclusion listing below. Excluding: All full—time, salaried faculty (except faculty on post doctorate fellowship); All faculty within the Tenure Structure; truly visiting faculty; emeritus/a faculty; faculty who teach only Osher Lifelong Learning Institute courses, physical education courses, high school program courses, Summer Music Workshops and/or noncredit bearing courses; deans; provosts (including associate and assistant); administrators; department chairs (but not including program chairs in the Rabb School of Continuing Studies, Division of Professional Studies); directors; graduate students who teach only courses pursuant to a stipend; athletic coaches; all other employees who do not teach courses; and managers, confidential employees, guards and supervisors as defined by the Act
