Unit Sought: All-full time and regular part-time cooks employed by the Home at its 150 University Drive, Amherst, Massachusetts, nursing home, excluding all other employees, dietitians, registered nurses, graduate nurses, licensed practical nurses, recreational personnel, office clerical employees, professional employees, guards, chef, temporary employees as defined herein, high school students receiving academic credit for work study or any high school students hired through a vocational cooperative program, and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended to date. A vote in favor of union representation is a vote to be added to the existing unit of employees represented by the Union, which consists of: All regular full-time and regular part-time maintenance and housekeeping employees, kitchen employees, nurses' aides, and orderlies employed by the Home at its 150 University Drive, Amherst, Massachusetts, nursing home, excluding all other employees, dietitians, registered nurses, graduate nurses, licensed practical nurses, recreational personnel, office clerical employees, professional employees, guards, chef, temporary employees as defined herein, high school students receiving academic credit for work study or any high school students hired through a vocational cooperative program, and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended to date.
