Unit Sought: Current Unit members included: All full-time, part-time and casual service employees in the following service areas - Medical Assistants, Medical Record Assistants and Leads, Lab Assistants, Phlebotomists, Housekeeping Assistants, Housekeeping Team Leaders, Clinical Associates, Central Service Techs, (including Registered and/or Certified), Perioperative Care Associates, Unit Clerks, Linen Services Attendants (which include Mechanics and Seamstress), Dietetic Assistants and Specialists including Cooks and Leads, Materials Handling Attendants, Support Associates, Film Room Clerks, Nutrition Care Assistants, Sterile Processing Techs, HSC Inventory Control and Anesthesia Aides. Proposed unit to exclude: Teaching administrative and supervisory, registered nurses, professional, technical, security guards, maintenance, doctors, business office clerical and all other employees not included, as defined in the National Labor Relations Act, as amended.
