Unit Sought: Description of Present Unit - Including: All employees working for Republic Services of Southern Nevada and Republic Dumpco, Inc., at its facilities located south of State of Nevada Highway Six (6), in the job classifications of industrial driver, commercial drivers & helpers, residential rearload drivers & helpers, residential automated drivers, residential curbside drivers, medical driver, semi driver, senior driver, graphics department, mechanics/senior mechanics, welders, servicemen, utility 1, utility 2, mechanic heavy equipment, operator heavy equipment/senior operator, parts person, upholstery, painter, and sludge driver. Excluding: New company endeavors which have not been organized by the union at the time of company acquisitions, and excluding all other employees, independent contractors, guards, professional employees and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act. 6b. Description of Proposed Unit - Excluded: Employees of NRC Environmental Services Inc. d/b/a Republic Services Environmental Services working in hazardous waste disposal at the facility at Sloan Road.
