NLRB Region 1-Boston Announces Results of Saint Vincent Hospital Ballot Count

Boston, MA—Region 1 of the National Labor Relations Board completed a ballot count on February 28, 2022 in a union election involving employees at VHS Acquisition Subsidiary Number 7, Inc. d/b/a Saint Vincent Hospital choosing whether or not to remain represented by Massachusetts Nurses Association. The ballot count was conducted by NLRB Region 1 employees at the Boston Regional office. The resultant Tally of Ballots shows the following results:

The challenged ballots are not determinative. A majority of the valid votes counted has been cast for the union, Massachusetts Nurses Association. The results of this count will not be certified until the Region processes any objections that might be filed by the parties contesting the election. Any objections to the election are due within five business days after the preparation of the tally, which is Monday, March 7, 2022.

Region 1 serves areas in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont from its Regional Office in Boston and Subregional Office in Hartford.
