On August 19, 2014, the Region hosted Diego Jaramillo, Cónsul General of Ecuador in Los Angeles, to view the signing of a memorandum of understanding by the National Labor Relations Board and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador. The memorandum of understanding is designed to strengthen collaborative efforts to provide Ecuadorian workers, their employers, and Ecuadorian business owners in the United States with information, guidance, and access to education regarding their rights and responsibilities under the National Labor Relations Act. The memorandum of understanding can be viewed here in English and here in Spanish.
