On August 29, 2014, Regional Director M. Kathleen McKinney signed a local memorandum of understanding with the Consulate of Mexico in New Orleans, Louisiana.  The purpose of the local memorandum of understanding is to strengthen the collaborative efforts between Region 15 and the Consulate of Mexico to provide Mexican workers, their employers, and Mexican business owners in the United States with information, guidance, and access to education regarding their rights and responsibilities under the National Labor Relations Act. 
On April 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., Regional Director M. Kathleen McKinney will be presenting on the new Representation case rules to members of the New Orleans Bar Association. The session will be held in Region 15’s Courtroom on the 7th Floor of the F. Edward Hebert Federal Building located at 600 South Maestri Place, New Orleans, Louisiana.
On Thursday, April 16, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., the New Orleans Regional office will be giving an outreach presentation to Spanish speaking workers in the New Orleans area.   The presentation will focus on protected concerted activity and provide an overview of the National Labor Relations Act.  The presentation will take place at the Loyola University Law Clinic.
On April 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., Regional Director M. On May 6, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., Field Attorney Stephen Bensinger will be presenting on the National Labor Relations Board’s processes and procedures to investigators assigned to the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission’s New Orleans Field Office.  The presentation will be held at 1555 Poydras Street, Suite 1900, New Orleans, Louisiana.
On June 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., Field Attorney Steven Bensinger will be giving a presentation to the Federation of Filipino Educators in Louisiana. The presentation will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Parish Activity Center located at 400 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
On June 26, 2015, at 3:00 p.m., Field Attorney Steven Bensinger will be giving a presentation to local high school students regarding the history of the National Labor Relations Board.  The presentation will take place at the Regional office located in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As part of the celebration for Labor Rights Week  2015, Supervisory Field Attorney Kevin McClue will be presenting and answering questions regarding the National Labor Relations Board’s processes and procedures.   On September 3, 2015, at 10:45 a.m., the presentation will take place at the Consulate of Mexico in New Orleans, Louisiana.   On September 4, 2015, at 11:45 a.m., the presentation will take place at the Consulate of Honduras in New Orleans, Louisiana.
