Unit Sought: Description of present unit Local Union 1493 of the Amalgamated Transit Union, AFL-CIO/CLC represents three units of employees of the employer RATP Dev USA, Inc., which operates the transit services of the Greensboro Transit Authority. The three units are the Fixed Route Unit, the Paratransit Unit, and the Road Supervisor and Dispatcher Unit, as set out below: The Fixed Route Unit (per collective bargaining agreement effective July 1, 2022, art. 4) The Company recognizes the Union as the duly designated and exclusive representative for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to rates of pay, hours of work, and other conditions of employment for all full-time and part-time operators and maintenance department employees employed at 223 Meadowview Rd., North Carolina under a service contract with the Greensboro Transit Authority, excluding office clerical employees, dispatchers and supervisors as defined in the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947, as amended. The Paratransit Unit (per collective bargaining agreement effective July 1, 2022, art. 3) The employer recognizes the Union as the sole collective bargaining representative for all full-time and part-time paratransit driver it employs in its Greensboro, NC paratransit operations, as the classification identified in the National Labor Relations Board The Road Supervisor and Dispatcher Unit (per certification of December 2, 2019): All full-time and regular part-time Road Supervisors and Dispatchers at the Employer’s Greensboro, North Carolina facility, but excluding all other employees, Lead Dispatch Supervisors, Training Supervisors, office clerical employees, guards, and supervisors as defined by the act. Description of Proposed Unit Included: All full-time and regular part-time fixed route operators, maintenance department employees, paratransit drivers, road Supervisors and dispatchers employed at or out of the employer’s facility currently located at 223 W. Meadowview Road in Greensboro, North Carolina. Excluded: All other employees, Lead Dispatch Supervisors, Training Supervisors, office clerical employees, and guards and supervisors as defined by the Act.
