Unit Sought: Included: All persons employed by the Employer in Alameda and San Mateo Counties in the production, processing, refining, packing and shipping of salt including loading of ships and barges, and in the construction, maintenance and servicing of works in connection therewith, including maintenance machinists. Excluded: All seasonal harvest workers, office workers, civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, chemists, assistant chemists, superintendents and other exercising authority above the rank or plant foreperson. Further excluded, insofar as it applies only to person employed in Alameda County, are toll and die makers, maintenance machinists, stock-clerk (shop), pan room operator and maintenance helper.
