Regional Director

Welcome to Region 25 of the National Labor Relations Board. We conduct elections, investigate charges of unfair labor practices, and protect the rights of workers to act together, serving parts of Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Kentucky from our regional office in Indianapolis and subregional office in Peoria. If you have questions or wish to file a charge or petition for election, please visit one of our offices or call and ask for the Information Officer on duty. We can arrange to have someone speak with you in the language of your choice. We are also happy to provide speakers and materials to promote a greater understanding of the National Labor Relations Act.

News From the Region

As part of Labor Rights Week events, representatives from NLRB Region 25 will be making a presentation and fielding questions at a forum being hosted by the US Department of Labor on September 3, 2015. The event will take place in the 7th floor BMO Conference Center located at 135 N. Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204. Attendance is FREE and OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Region 25 secured settlement, including backpay and reinstatement, for an employee who was allegedly unlawfully discharged during a union organizing campaign at a Bristol, Illinois, composte and landscape waste recycling facility.

National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Richard F. Griffin, Jr. announced the appointment of Joanne Mages as the Regional Attorney of the NLRB's Regional Office in Indianapolis, Indiana (Region 25).

The NLRB has published new rules concerning the processing of representation petitions filed on or after April 14, 2015. Region 25 will be conducting two presentations highlighting the changes that have been implemented by these new rules. (Click title heading for more details)
