Region 27 Announces Results in HelloFresh Union Election

Denver, CO – Region 27 of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) completed a vote count on November 22nd in a union election involving employees at Grocery Delivery E-Services USA, Inc. d/b/a Hello Fresh/Green Chef (HelloFresh) choosing whether or not to be represented by the UNITE HERE Local 23. The resultant Tally of Ballots shows the following results:

Approximate number of eligible voters 363
Number of void ballots     2
Number of votes cast for the Petitioner, UNITE HERE Local 23 91
Number of votes cast against participating labor organization     166
Number of valid votes counted 257
Number of challenged ballots   7
Number of valid votes counted plus challenged ballots 264

Challenges are not sufficient in number to affect the results of the election. A majority of the valid votes counted plus challenged ballots has not been cast for the Petitioner, UNITE HERE Local 23.

The ballot count was conducted by NLRB Region 27 employees at the Denver Regional office. The results of this count will not be certified until the Region processes any objections that might be filed by the parties contesting the election. Any objections to the election are due within five business days after the preparation of the tally, which is November 30, 2021.

The NLRB conducts hundreds of workplace elections and investigates thousands of unfair labor practice charges each year. Region 27 serves areas in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nebraska from its Regional Office in Denver.
