Ventris C. Gibson Named NLRB Director of Administration

Ventris C. Gibson has been named National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Director of Administration in the Agency’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.  Ms. Gibson, a U.S. Navy veteran, provides executive oversight and leadership of human resources, facilities and property management, emergency preparedness, employee safety and health, personal and physical security, and employee development and learning.  Since January 2013, Ms. Gibson has served as the NLRB’s Acting Chief Human Capital Officer.  Over her 38-year career, she has been a key leader in the management of human resources, dispute resolution, equal employment opportunity, emergency preparedness, and safety.  Ms. Gibson has served as the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration’s Assistant Administrator for Human Resources Management and as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Management and Dispute Resolution.
