Leah Jaffe named Deputy Regional Attorney of the NLRB's Manhattan Office

National Labor Relations Board Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon today announced the appointment of Leah Jaffe as Deputy Regional Attorney of the NLRB’s Regional Office in New York, New York (Region 2).  Ms. Jaffe had been a Supervisory Attorney in the Manhattan Office prior to her appointment.  In her new position, she will assist Regional Director Celeste J. Mattina in the administration and enforcement of the National Labor Relations Act in Manhattan, the Bronx and the suburbs north of New York City.  Ms. Jaffe graduated with a B.S. degree from Cornell University, the School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 1980.  She received her law degree from Fordham University in 1983.  Ms. Jaffe started her career with the Board as an attorney law clerk with the Division of Judges in New York, where she worked until 1985.  After a brief hiatus Ms. Jaffe returned to the Board as a field attorney in the Manhattan Office in 1989.  She became a Supervisory Attorney in that office in 2001.    # # #
