Gregory Gleine Named Regional Attorney of Region 8-Cleveland
Today, National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo announced the appointment of Gregory Gleine as the Regional Attorney of the NLRB Region 8-Cleveland. In his new position, Mr. Gleine will assist Regional Director Iva Choe in the administration and enforcement of the National Labor Relations Act in parts of Ohio.
Born in Parma, Ohio, Mr. Gleine was raised in Strongsville, Ohio, where he resides with his wife and family. A proud alumnus of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Gleine earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, in 1996 and his Juris Doctor degree from the Cleveland – Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University, in 2000. Mr. Gleine began his legal career with the Agency in the Cleveland Regional Office as a Field Attorney in 2000. He was promoted to Supervisory Attorney in 2014.
Established in 1935, the National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency that protects employees, employers, and unions from unfair labor practices and protects the right of private sector employees to join together, with or without a union, to improve wages, benefits and working conditions. The NLRB conducts hundreds of workplace elections and investigates thousands of unfair labor practice charges each year.
