Danielle Lucido Named Regional Attorney of Region 32- Oakland

Today, National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Crystal S. Carey has appointed Danielle Lucido as the Regional Attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, Region 32, with its office located in Oakland, California. In her position, Ms. Lucido will serve as the chief legal officer of the regional office and assist Regional Director Christy J. Kwon in the administration and enforcement of the National Labor Relations Act in part of northern California, central California, and Northern Nevada.

Ms. Lucido earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law. Prior to joining the NLRB, Ms. Lucido served as Chief Counsel for Cal-OSHA managing a statewide legal department and criminal bureau that included 60 attorneys, investigators and support staff and as Chief Counsel for the Engineers and Scientists of California, Local 20, IFPTE.
 

Established in 1935, the National Labor Relations Board is an independent federal agency that protects employees from unfair labor practices and protects the right of private sector employees to join together, with or without a union, to improve wages, benefits and working conditions. The NLRB conducts hundreds of workplace elections and investigates thousands of unfair labor practice charges each year.
