Summarized Board Decisions

Sharp Staffing Resource Network  (21-RC-361867; 374 NLRB No. 135 San Diego, CA, June 16, 2026. The Board (Chairman Murphy and Member Prouty; Member Mayer, dissenting) denied the Employer’s Request for Review of the Acting Regional Director’s Decision and Direction of Election as it raised no substantial issues warranting review. The majority explained that the Employer failed to dispute the applicability of the Health Care Rule before the Regional Director and thus the issues raised in its Request for Review were not properly before the Board. Dissenting, Member Mayer would have granted review to allow the Employer to present additional evidence as to whether the petitioned-for unit was appropriate. Petitioner—Service Employees International Union, United Healthcare Workers—West.  Chairman Murphy and Members Prouty and Mayer participated.
