Unit Description: The contractual bargaining unit is all shipping floor employees(wrapping employees, slicing employees, shipping employees, receiving employees, floor employees and drivers) employed at RP Baking LLC's operation at 840 Jerset Street, Harrison, New Jersey 07029, but excluding all other employees, executives, guards, professional employees and supervisors as defined in the Act. Teamsters Local 701 filed a grievance claming the the bargaining unit should be expanded to including employees of another employer, Tri-state Buns, LLC. Tri-State Buns LLC is a separate employer which operates a bakery located at 723-810 Warren Street, Harrison, NJ 07029. In purpose and effect, Teamsters Local 701's grievance seeks to require RP Baking, LLC to recognize Local 701 as the excluding bargaining representative of Tri-State, LLC employees. Therefore, the instant petition seeks to clarify thr bargaining unit is comprised solely of RP baking, LLC employees employed at its 840 Jersey Avenue Harrison, NJ 07029 operation.
