VOTING GROUP B - NON-PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES Included: All full-time and regular part-time Licensed Practical Nurses employed by the Employer at its facility currently located at 730 W. Hintz Road, Wheeling, IL. Excluded: All professional employees, Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Psychotropic Nurses, Infection Preventionists, MDS/Care Plan Coordinators, Restorative/Rehab Nurses, Wound Care Nurses, office clerical employees, confidential employees, managerial employees, guards and supervisors as defined by the Act. If a majority of the professional employees voting in Unit A vote “Yes” to the first question, indicating their desire to be included in a unit with non-professional employees, they will be so included, and their votes on the second question will be counted together with the votes of the non-professional employees in Group B to decide the question concerning representation for the overall unit consisting of the employees in Groups A and B. If on the other hand, a majority of the professional employees voting in Group A do not vote “Yes” to the first question, their ballots will be counted separately to decide the question concerning representation in a separate Group A. If a majority of the professional employees voting in Unit A vote “Yes” to the first question, the overall unit consisting of the employees in Units A and B and thereby the following employees will constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining within the meaning of 9(b) of the Act. Unit C Included: All full-time and regular part-time Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses employed by the Employer at its facility currently located at 730 W. Hintz Road, Wheeling, IL. Excluded: All Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Psychotropic Nurses, Infection Preventionists, MDS/Care Plan Coordinators, Restorative/Rehab Nurses, Wound Care Nurses, office clerical employees, confidential employees, managerial employees, guards and supervisors as defined by the Act. If a majority of valid ballots for Units B or C are cast for SEIU Healthcare Illinois and Indiana, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to be included in the existing unit currently represented by that labor organization. If a majority of valid ballots are not cast for representation, they will be taken to have indicated the employees’ desire to remain unrepresented. If a majority of the professional employees in Voting Group A do not vote for inclusion in a unit with nonprofessional employees, but the majority of valid ballots in that voting group are cast for representation by SEIU Healthcare Illinois and Indiana, then the professional employees will be an appropriate unit unto themselves.
