Voting Unit (Unit A):Included: All full-time and regular part-time professional employees employed at UCAN Grand Academy, currently located at 3110 W. Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60622, and UCAN South Academy, currently located at 1551 W. 95th St., Chicago, IL 60643, including: Registered Nurse, School Social Worker I, School Social Worker II, Teacher I, Teacher II, and Therapist I. Excluded: All non-professional employees, confidential employees, managerial employees, guards and supervisors as defined by the Act.

Voting Unit (Unit B):Included: All full-time and regular part-time non-professional employees employed at UCAN Grand Academy, currently located at 3110 W. Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60622, and UCAN South Academy, currently located at 1551 W. 95th St., Chicago, IL 60643, including: Administrative Assistant I, Administrative Assistant II, Administrative Assistant III, Behavior Intervention Specialist I, Behavior Intervention Specialist II, Educational Liaison III, Food Service Assistant, Teacher Aide I, Teacher Aide II, Teacher Assistant, and Teacher Assistant II. Excluded: All professional employees, confidential employees, managerial employees, guards and supervisors as defined by the Act. If a majority of the professional employees voting in Unit A vote “Yes” to the first question, indicating their desire to be included in a unit with nonprofessional employees, they will be so included, and their votes on the second question will be counted together with the votes of the nonprofessional employees in Unit B to decide the question concerning representation for the overall unit (Unit C) consisting of the employees in Units A and B and thereby the following employees will constitute a unit appropriate for the purposes of collective bargaining within the meaning of 9(b) of the Act.
