Unit Description: Ohio CAT- Western Region CBA Geographical Scope: The provisions of this Agreement shall govern the employment of any conditions under which service technicians shall work and rates of pay they shall receive on work as defined herein for all counties in the state of Ohio and including Boone, Campbell, Kenton and Pendleton Counties in Kentucky." Work Scope: Section 1- The word "work,' when used herein includes but is not limited to mechanical repairs and factory warranty work, steam cleaning and painting, and the loading and unloading of construction and industrial equipment, which is to include engines and components that are to be repaired in the shop, material handling equipment and all other construction, industrial and mining equipment. Ohio CAT-Eastern Region CBA Geographic Scope: The provisions of this Agreement shall govern the employment of and conditions under which shop, field service and parts employed shall work and rates of pay they shall receive on work as defined herein for the Employer's Eastern Region. Work Scope: Section 1- Service Employee: The word 'work,' when used herein, means mechanical repairs and factory warranty work; cleaning and painting; ordering parts through the service information system; and the loading and unloading of construction and industrial equipment, which is to include engines and components that are to be repaired in the ship; material handling equipment; and all other construction, industrial and mining equipment. Section 2- Parts Employees: The word "work," when used herein, means receiving; packaging; unpacking; binning; removal from storage; labeling; inventorying; maintaining parts records; processing customer orders at counter, by mail, or telephone; pickup or delivery of parts, components or supplies; operation of the shuttle truck; loading and unloading of engines, shuttled machines, components and undercarriages that are to be repaired or have been repaired in the shop, assisting in good housekeeping in the parts warehouse area and any other functions normally associated with the total operation of Employer's Parts Department. It is understood that sales employees may pick up and deliver hydraulic components (cylinders, pumps, motors and valves), Service Department employees may order parts through the service information system and clerks may perform clerical duties such as parts recalling. Back ordering will be done by bargaining unit employee
