Voting Unit (Unit A):All full-time, regular part-time, and per diem registered nurses (RNs), including Staff Nurses, Staff Nurses-ED, Staff Nurses-SPC, RN Case Managers, Lactation Consultants, and Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses employed by the Employer at its facility currently located at 6071 West Outer Drive, Detroit, Michigan; but excluding Clinical Improvement Specialists-Clinical Quality Abstraction RNs, Lead Nurse Practitioners, Maternal Program Coordinators, Nurse Navigators, Nurse Practitioners, Senior Clinical Auditors, Trauma Nurse Practitioners, Trauma Program Specialists, guards and supervisors as defined in the National Labor Relations Act. Others permitted to vote: The parties have agreed that Nurse Midwives and Clinical Coordinators, including Clinical Coordinator Radiology Services, Clinical Coordinator PCS, Clinical Coordinator PCS-SPC, and Clinical Coordinator SPC, may vote in the election, but their ballots will be challenged since their eligibility has not been resolved. No decision has been made regarding whether the individuals in these classifications or groups are included in, or excluded from, the bargaining unit. The eligibility or inclusion of these individuals will be resolved, if necessary, following the election.
