Unit Description: Included: All full-time Police Officers and Civilian Dispatchers employed by Boston University at its Charles River and Medical Campuses in Boston, Massachusetts. Excluded: All other employees, service and maintenance employees, office clerical emplyees, professional employees, sergeants and all other supervisory personnel as defined by the National Labor Relations Board. Unit Clairification: Boston University is in the process of building a National Engineering Infectious Diseases Laboratory ("NEIDL") on its Medical Campus in Boston and is currently hiring approximately 22 police officers and dispatchers tow ork at the facility. The Boston University Police Patrolmen's Association ("BUPPA") brings this petition to clarify that these newly hired police officers and civilian dispatchers should be included in the BUPPA baragaining unit.
