David I. Goldman

Judge David Goldman

Judge Goldman was first appointed an NLRB judge in September of 2005. He had previously worked as an attorney in the NLRB Appellate Court Branch, and as an Assistant and Associate General Counsel for the United Steelworkers of America. In September 2021, he left the ALJ corps to serve as Chief Counsel to NLRB Board Member David M. Prouty. In September 2026, Judge Goldman was reappointed as an NLRB judge. 

Judge Goldman is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. He received his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina and his J.D. degree from Columbia University. Judge Goldman is an Honorary Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
