Unit Sought: Included: Editor, Center for Teaching and Learning Specialist, Government Relations Specialist, Organizer, Lead Organizer, Network Systems Programmer, Member Benefits Specialist, Public Relations Coordinator, Research Specialist, UniServ Director, and Website and Technology Communications Specialist. Accounting Technician, Administrative Assistant, Membership and Organizing Technician, Membership Data Processing Technician, Receptionist, and Mailroom/Maintenance Technician. Temporary Employees in any of these positions are also included. (based upon current CBA) Excluded: Confidential employees, attorneys, all members of management labeled positions, including those labeled Organizing Managers (under the previous expired CBA, 2021-2024), Human Resources, elected governance for the NCAE, general counsel, contracted/project 1099 employees employed by the organization, any employees who do not carry work that is protected by the bargaining unit in accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Petitioner seeks to add all full-time and regular part-time editorial employees employed by the New York Times Company and assigned to the Athletic via an Armour-Globe/representation election.
