Regional Director

Welcome to Region 19 of the National Labor Relations Board. We conduct elections, investigate charges of unfair labor practices, and protect the rights of workers to act together, serving the northwest from our main office in Seattle, a subregional office in Portland and a resident office in Anchorage. If you have questions or wish to file a charge or petition for election, please visit one of our offices or call and ask for the Information Officer on duty. We can arrange for someone to speak with you in the language of your choice. We are also happy to provide speakers and materials to promote a greater understanding of the National Labor Relations Act.

NLRB Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon today appeared before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform at a field hearing in South Carolina called regarding his decision to issue a complaint against the Boeing Company on April 20.

NLRB Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon today responded to inquiries regarding a complaint issued April 20 against the Boeing Company with the following statement:

NLRB Acting General Counsel Lafe Solomon today issued a complaint against the Boeing Company alleging that it violated federal labor law by deciding to transfer a second production line to a non-union facility in South Carolina for discriminatory reasons.
