Wanda Pate Jones was appointed Regional Director of the Denver Regional Office (Region 27) in 2010. Ms. Jones began her career with the NLRB as a Field Attorney in the Winston-Salem Regional Office in 1979. She served as a Field Attorney in Honolulu from 1984 to 1993, when she was appointed Supervisory Field Attorney in the Las Vegas Resident Office. Ms. Jones transferred to the Denver Regional Office as a Field Attorney and in 1998 was appointed Deputy Regional Attorney in Region 27. She was appointed Assistant General Counsel for Labor and Employee Relations in 1999 and served as the Agency’s Special Counsel before transferring to the Atlanta Regional Office in 2001. In 2009, she was appointed Regional Attorney in the Denver Regional Office and served in that capacity until her appointment as Regional Director.
A native of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Ms. Jones earned her B.S. degree with honors from Western Carolina University in 1975 and a Master of Social Work in 1976 from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. She received her J.D. degree from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1979.
