NLRB's Chicago Office to Close Friday, February 19 Due to Relocation

CHICAGO, IL—The Chicago Regional Office will be relocating from 209 South LaSalle Street, Suite 900, to 219 South Dearborn Street, Suite 808, Chicago, IL 60604 on Friday, February 19, 2016 and will not be open to the public on that date. The Chicago Regional Office will reopen on Monday, February 22, 2016. 

Members of the public who do not have a government issued identification card at the time of visiting the new Chicago Regional Office can be escorted to the NLRB Office by a representative of the NLRB after signing-in at the security desk and informing the security guard that they have business with the NLRB Chicago Regional Office.

The Chicago Regional Office will not schedule representation or unfair labor practice hearings for Friday, February 19 or Monday, February 22. Moreover, the Regional Office will be unable to immediately receive mail or other deliveries on Friday, February 19. 

Staff of the Chicago Regional Office who are teleworking on February 19, 2016, will docket incoming unfair labor practice charges and representation petitions filed by fax or through the Agency’s e-filing system.

Members of the public and parties to pending cases may fax documents to the Chicago Regional Office at (312) 886-1341. These faxes will be received electronically by the Regional Office on the day they are faxed. Individuals, labor organizations, or employers who wish to file new unfair labor practice charges or representation petitions, or who are submitting documents in open cases, are strongly encouraged to use the Agency’s e-filing system.
