We can arrange to have someone speak with you in the language of your choice. We are also happy to provide speakers and materials to promote a greater understanding of the National Labor Relations Act.

News From the Region

The National Labor Relations Board has issued a second complaint against the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach alleging violations of federal labor law in a dispute that dates back more than a decade.

NLRB attorneys also on Monday issued a Compliance Specification that calculates the Center owes about $2.6 million in back pay and benefit contributions, plus interest that continues to accrue, to several hundred members of the stagehands’ union who were unlawfully denied employment.

A settlement between the major investor in a defunct Pennsylvania manufacturer of camper trailers and its former unionized workforce has resulted in the withdrawal of charges that the company’s abrupt closure in January 2011 violated federal labor laws. Private equity firm Blackstreet Capital bought the manufacturing plant in 2008 and renamed it FTCA, Inc.. Under the agreement, FTCA, Inc.’s parent company, FTCA, LLC, and Blackstreet Capital will cover employees’ backpay and medical expenses incurred as a result of losing insurance coverage.
