Wayne Gold was appointed Regional Director of the Baltimore Regional Office (Region 5) in 2000. Mr. Gold left private practice and began his career with the NLRB in 1978 as Counsel to former Board Member Howard Jenkins, Jr. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 1981, and later appointed Supervisory Attorney in the Office of Representation Appeals in 1984. Mr. Gold became Deputy Director of the Office of Representation Appeals in 1994, and in 1996 was appointed as the Director of that office.
Mr. Gold received a B.A. degree in 1973 from the University of Maryland and a J.D. degree with honors in 1977 from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Gold is a member of the District of Columbia and United States Supreme Court bars, and is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute. In 2008, Mr. Gold was elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
