Wake Forest School of Law Public Interst Retreat
On March 2, 2012, Attorney Jasper Brown will participate in the Wake Forest University School of Law Annual Public Interest Retreat. The retreat is sponsored by a student-run group, the Public Interest Initiative, to encourage students to pursue careers in public interest law. According to the organizers of the retreat, the retreat is designed to provide students an all-encompassing look into the realm of public interest law, including the social and personal benefits of working in the public interest arena and the range of possible employment settings and career options. The retreat will feature a keynote speaker, a networking reception, and several breakout sessions where students can meet with former and practicing public interest attorneys. Mr. Brown will meet with students to discuss his experiences and career with the National Labor Relations Board.
