On September 10, 2011, Deputy Regional Attorney Paul R. Irving gave a presentation to the Maricopa Area Federation of Labor in Phoenix, Arizona. The 90-minute presentation included and covered a summary of recent National Labor Relations Board decisions and cases; an overview of the Board's proposed rules regarding representation elections; the Board's and Region's procedures and practices regarding unfair labor practice investigations and the presentation of Charging Party evidence; recent developments in the Agency's practices regarding Section 10(j) cases; representation case procedures; as well as a question and answer period.
