On November 30, 2012, NLRB Deputy General Counsel Celeste Mattina, Regional Director Marlin Osthus and Supervisory Attorney Nichole Burgess-Peel will be participating in the 39thAnnual Labor & Employment Law Institute. First, Deputy General Counsel Mattina and EEOC General Counsel David Lopez will discuss key developments at their respective agencies through analysis of real-life situations. Later, Mattina will discuss cases currently pending before the Board with a panel of local practitioners; Regional Director Osthus will moderate a breakout session regarding appropriate units under Specialty Healthcare and more; and Supervisory Attorney Burgess-Peel will present with a management lawyer team to provide perspectives and analysis regarding factually difficult employee protected concerted activity cases.
