Intra-Agency Outreach Group Interviewed by Local Televison

An intra-Agency Outreach Group known as "ENTERATE" that includes the NLRB was interviewed this afternoon by Local Televison Station Telemundo about the outreach activity to be held at a shopping mall in Aguadilla (on the Western part of the Island).  Deputy Regional Attorney Luis F. Padilla explained the Agency's effort to educate the public through this group about employee rights under Section 7 of the Act and provided examples of local cases that have been resolved and/or settled that involved protected concerted activities.  At the activity, to be held on Saturday, July 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, the Region will man a booth from where it will distribute literature and trinkets.  A group representative also appeared this morning at another major local TV station to promote the event.  The group has also been invited to be interviewed by WOLE TV, Mayaguez, a regional television station, and will appear on two live radio radio talk shows before the event.  A press conference has also scheduled for Saturday, July 30 at noon on the site of the event to talk about the various laws that each agency administers.
