On August 18, 2011, Region 28 Compliance Officer Miguel Rodriguez and Deputy Regional Attorney Paul R. Irving met with the staff of The Arizona Worker Rights Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and gave a presentation about the National Labor Relations Act (the Act) and the work of the National Labor Relations Board (the Board). The presentation covered issues involving the rights described in Section 7 of the Act, procedures during the investigation of unfair labor practice charges, the processing of representation petitions, and various compliance procedures and practices.
